Cooking Mode: Panchmel Dal

Step 1 of 4

Wash mixed lentils and pressure cook with water, turmeric powder, and salt for 5 whistles.

Step 2 of 4

Heat ghee in a pan, temper cumin seeds, dry red chilies, and garlic paste until golden.

Step 3 of 4

Add red chili powder to ghee and immediately pour over cooked lentils.

Step 4 of 4

Simmer for 5 minutes and serve hot with baati or rice.
